Akki or Ragi Rotti is a dish done in South India regularly. Let us see how to make it more nutritious and healthy.
Take rice flour along with little millet flour to make it multi grain, to this add chopped onions and coriander leaves pieces . Take grated carrot and radish so that you can get the benefits of vegetables also.
To this you can add little grated cucumber also to get very soft rottis, If you like peanuts then add peanut powder also. Add salt and chilli powder and mix the mixture well so that it will release some water.
After keeping this mixture for 10 minutes, add water to get consistency thicker than Dosa mixture. Put little oil on a pan spread it over and then put the mixture and pat with your hand to make it like a dosa.
Switch on the stove and put a plate on that for some 5 minutes and then turn it reverse side so that it will get boiled on the other side also.
Eat these rottis with chutney to get a heavenly taste.
