1 . Dangal
The highest earning Bollywood movie in terms of money and fame is the Aamir Khan starrer 'Dangal'. Based on real life incidents, this movie had a budget of Rs. 70 crores, but it's worldwide collection crossed almost 30 times it's cost. Till date, it is the highest grossing Bollywood movie with a total collection of about Rs. 2021 crores. Another fact to note is that Aamir Khan got a whopping amount of Rs. 175 crores for the movie, the most for any Actor in the world.
2 . Bahubali- 2 (The Conclusion)
Since Baahubali part 1 was a massive hit, everyone expected much from part 2 and it truly delivered much higher than people thought. Made with a high budget of Rs. 250 crores, it started ruling the box office with it's immense success. It's total worldwide collection amounted to Rs. 1810 crores.
3 . Bajrangi Bhaijaan
A heart whelming story of a small little innocent Pakistani girl who gets separated from her family during her visit to India. And then how our Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman Khan unites her with her family. Made with a budget of Rs. 90 crores, this movie had a worldwide collection of about Rs. 967 crores.
4 . Secret Superstar
A simple story of a young and ambitious singer protrayed in such a beautiful way that it won hearts of people all over the world. This movie was made with just a small budget of Rs.15 crores, but it's collection will shock you. It earned about 6000% return on it's cost. That means it made a huge collection of Rs. 965 crores worldwide. Amazing, right.

5 . PK
One of the most loved and successful movies of Bollywood, PK, is the story of an alien who comes in a shapedhip to our planet earth. But he is stolen of his gadget which is the only way to connect and return back to his own planet. In his journey to get his gadget back, he comes to know various religious and blind practices and also falls love with a human. This movie was made with a budget of Rs. 85 crores but it ended up making a worldwide collection of about Rs. 830 crores.
