1. Personalized name keychain

Crafts to make name keychains

You will never again doubt the owner of the keys. These crafts to make keychains use jewelry dice that are very cheap and that you can personalize with the name.

Materials

  • Jewelry dice with a hole (you have to have as many as there are letters in the name of the person for whom you will make a keychain)
  • Smaller round beads
  • Embroidery thread
  • Needles
  • Permanent marker
  • Key rings

Steps

  • Take the jewelry dice and write the name of the person to whom you will give the keychain with a permanent marker.
  • So that it can always be read, write the letter on all the faces of the dice, except on the sides that have the hole.
  • Let it dry.
  • Sort the name.
  • Thread the thread by placing one of the round beads at the end.
  • Go through the row of dice with the name.
  • Take out the embroidery thread at the other end and finish off with another ball.
  • Don't forget to double knots at each end.
  • Pass the thread through the keychain washers and finish off your craft.

2. Colored Keychains

A simple cotton rope and some embroidery threads are the basis of this craft to make these keychains. Choose the favorite colors of the person you are doing it for. So he/she will know that you have done it thinking about her.

Materials

  • Brass keychain hook
  • Cotton rope
  • Embroidery thread
  • Needle
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Scotch tape

Steps

  • Cut a string the size you want your keychain to be.
  • Fray the final part separating the threads that make up the rope.
  • Join the two strings, so they do not continue to unravel, with non-plastic adhesive tape.
  • Put glue on top. Take the thread you want to start with and wrap it tightly around the glue.
  • Before starting with the second, add a little more glue and, with the help of the needle, put the end of the thread inside the strings, so that it does not fall apart. Keep rolling.
  • Repeat this step for all the colored threads you want to add.
  • Finish by attaching the brass hook of the keychain!
