It is already reported that the Bollywood blockbuster Andhadhun is being remade in Telugu with Nithiin reprising the role of Ayushmann Khurrana.
Initially, the makers had plans to sign actress Radhika Apte and Tabu, who were a part of the original. However, later they felt that Tamannaah and Nabha would be apt for the roles and finalised them.
The makers have just released an official statement elaborating on who will essay which role in this much-anticipated Telugu remake. Speaking of which, it can now be confirmed that Nithiin will play Ayushmann’s character, Tamannaah Bhatia will step into Tabu’s shoes while Nabha will play Radhika Apte’s role.
Apart from the commercial acclaim, the film has won three national awards including Best Feature Film in Hindi, Best Screenplay and Best Actor for Ayushmann Khurrana. It’ll be interesting to see how well they’ll pull off their roles and live up to the original.
