Flavorful Spicy Gobi Fried Rice Recipe

 

Gobi Fried Rice is a flavorful, mildly spicy, and an Indo Chinese based rice dish. This recipe is prepared by adding fried gobi to the Chinese-style fried rice which is also enhanced with strong Indian flavors like garam masala and chili powder.

  • cauliflower

  • cabbage

  • vinegar
  • schezwan sauce

Process-

1. Clean and chop cauliflower into small florets. Boil these florets in hot water for 2-3 min along with salt. In a bowl add 4 tbsp rice flour,2 tbsp cornflour, salt,1 tsp chili powder, 1tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp maida. Add water and make a thick batter. Add cauliflower florets and mix well. Heat oil in a pan for deep fry. Drop the cauliflower florets and fry till they turn a golden color. 

credit:party image reference2. Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pan and sauté chopped garlic, ginger, and green chilies for a min. Then add 1/2 cup onion and 2 tbsp spring onions and saute on high flame. Then further add chopped carrot, cabbage, beans snd saute. Add soy sauce, vinegar, and schezwan sauce and stir well.

3. Add in fried gobi florets and mix gently. Further, add steamed rice and salt as per taste. Cook on high flame for 5-8 mins.
