To celebrate the first anniversary of the SUVs, BMW has introduced the Uber exclusive 'First Edition' variants of the X5 M and X6 M competition SUVs.
Two special edition variants of the car will be manufactured at BMW's Spartanburg manufacturing facility in the United States, and the company will manufacture only 250 units of both.
The X5 M Competition and X6 M Competition First Edition will be powered by the same twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 motor as the regular versions. The engine produces 617 bhp and 750 Nm of torque.
The XDrive system transmits power to all four wheels with the help of a ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox.
SUVs can reach a top speed of 100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds, with a top speed of 285 kmph.
Another feature is that both the cars get the exclusive BMW Individual Frozen Dark Silver Special Paint Finish, while customers can also opt for the Frozen Marina Bay Blue Special Color Option.
The SUV comes with 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels. The Star Spoke alloy wheel design is finished in a jet black finish.
In addition, both models come with carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) accents and an M-branded carbon engine cover.
The cabins of the X5 M Competition and X6 M Competition First Edition variants are made with BMW Individual Merino full leather trim. Silverstone and Midnight Blue dual-tone theme is given to the interior by the manufacturers.
Vehicles also get the Alcantara Wrapped Midnight Blue Headliner, and the door panel trim and instrument panel get contrast stitching.

BMW has already started accepting bookings for both the special edition SUVs, however, the company has not yet released the price of both of these. These are sure to be more expensive than the standard X5 M and X6 M competition variants.
