While the 999cc inline four-cylinder engine remains the same, BMW has increased the power output of the 2019 S1000RR. The engine is now capable of generating 207 bhp of power and 113 Nm of torque. That means the new model has 8 bhp more power than the previous generation.

The gearbox on the bike is six speed. The BMW S1000RR supports slipper clutch and quick shifter units. The S1000RR also improved a lot in terms of weight. The total weight of the bike is 196 kg. It weighs 11 kg less than the old version.
