Leslie Browne is an American former ballet dancer and actress. She was a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet and is perhaps best known for her role as the ballerina in the 1977 film "The Turning Point." She has also appeared in several other films and television shows.

Leslie Browne is the daughter of the legendary dancer and choreographer, the late Mikhail Baryshnikov, and former dancer Elizabeth Kendall. She started her dance training at a young age and joined the New York City Ballet as a principal dancer in 1979. In addition to her work in film, Browne has also been a guest performer with several ballet companies around the world. She has received critical acclaim for her performances and is considered one of the most talented ballerinas of her generation.
