Sue Carol was an American actress and talent agent, born on October 30, 1906, in Chicago, Illinois, and passed away on February 4, 1982, in Los Angeles, California.

Carol began her career in the entertainment industry as a teenage actress in silent films, and she appeared in over 120 films throughout her career. Some of her notable films include "The Shopworn Angel" (1928), "No, No, Nanette" (1930), and "The Girl Said No" (1930). However, Carol's acting career began to slow down in the early 1930s, and she turned her attention to talent management.

In 1937, Carol became a talent agent and founded her own agency, Sue Carol Associates. She quickly became one of the most successful talent agents in Hollywood, representing actors such as Alan Ladd, Robert Cummings, and Ray Milland. In 1945, she married Alan Ladd, who was one of her clients, and they remained married until Ladd's death in 1964.

After Ladd's death, Carol retired from talent management and became involved in philanthropy. She was a co-founder of the Ladd and Carol Foundation, which donated millions of dollars to various charities and organizations. She also served on the board of directors for several charities, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

Overall, Sue Carol had a successful career in both acting and talent management, and she used her success to make a positive impact on the world through her philanthropic work.
