Video conferencing has been done with the Chief Ministers of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi has connected with Chief Ministers across the country through video conferencing. CM Yogi Adityanath has also joined video conferencing in this special meeting. PM Modi will discuss the lockdown in video conferencing. Along with this, they will also discuss the current situation of the states with the Chief Ministers.
So far chief ministers of 11 states including Delhi, Punjab, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh have suggested Prime Minister Narendra Modi increase the lockdown. After that Modi assured that the state governments would fully cooperate with the central government in the fight against Corona.
PM Modi said during this time that the Central and State Governments will walk shoulder to shoulder and will follow a definite strategy, then we will be able to save the country and the countrymen from the harm caused by Corona infection. In this meeting, the Health Ministry also gave a presentation on the coronavirus. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has demanded to increase the lockdown till April 30 in this meeting.
